The intricacies of social participation

The subject of this research was the Paraná State Labor Council with a view to analyzing the elements of democracy and social participation. The purpose of this work was to reflect on the participation of institutions in the development and strengthening of labor employment and income policies in the State Labor Council. To this end it was important to understand the historical process of democracy and participation as an element in strengthening civil society spaces. In addition we sought to reflect on the world of work and the working class which is of fundamental importance for understanding the formulations implemented in Brazil with regard to labor policy and its participatory management.
