The Investigation of Suicide

Suicide encompasses in itself social criminal and human occurrences and phenomena. Suicide as a human occurrence at the moment does not constitute a penal act in most of the penal legislation of the world but can be tied directly or indirectly to a criminal activity. In order to have a more comprehensive objective and professional investigation of suicide we must first be properly acquainted with the mechanism of perpetration of suicide: the creation of the conditions and means of suicide the suicide attempt pre-suicide self-harming the distinction of suicide from homicide natural death accidental homicide suicide due to negligence cooperation in suicide inducement to suicide causation of suicide suicide as a result of a criminal activity as well as the main signs that should be found on the victim and crime scene according to the mean of the suicide. Generally current investigations of suicide in the Albanian practice are accompanied by simple and light investigative activities by averting proactive investigation and the discovering nature of investigation.
