Stepping Stone  is based on the actual life of an Indian woman who since her birth struggled with het family issues and most of the time felt unwanted by her parents. It is a definitive statement on the middle-class teenage to adulthood world. Its about what she went through to reach where she is now.  It does offer insight on how Indian women living in a chauvinism world. It is however a highly personal and specific book. As such I hope will provide insights into the increasingly complicated world in which we live. Names dates places and certain events have been changed in accordance with the wishes of those concerned.
