Eugene Sue is not credited with a series called The Iron Pincers or The History of a Proletarian Family Across the Ages. Eugene Sue was a French author known for his works of fiction particularly his serialized novels that often exposed social injustices and advocated for the rights of the working class. One of Eugene Sue's most famous works is Les Mystères de Paris (The Mysteries of Paris) which was serialized in the mid-19th century and is considered one of the earliest examples of the French serial novel. It follows the adventures of Rodolphe a nobleman who disguises himself as a common laborer to explore the plight of the poor in Paris. Another notable work by Eugene Sue is Le Juif errant (The Wandering Jew) which combines elements of historical fiction adventure and supernatural elements. The novel follows the character of the Wandering Jew a mythical figure condemned to wander the earth for eternity as he encounters various historical events and figures throughout the ages.
