The Island

<p><strong style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)> </strong></p><p><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Journeying to a deserted shack on an unfriendly island seemed to be just the vacation I needed to heal my spirit along with the injuries to my newly rescued dog. I had a fantasy of how our time would be spent. That was before I found myself lying on the dirt floor of the shack in the dark of night being terrorized by bullets striking so close the dirt was hitting my face.</span></p><p><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>  </span></p>
