God said a tenth of all agricultural production in the land of Israel belonged to Him. The Church says God required the Israelites to give Him a tenth and He requires the same of you. They cant both be right. After tithing for many years I decided to find out what the Bible really says. There are only two acts of tithing recorded in the Bible: Abrahams tithe to Melchizedek and Jacobs tithe to God. Jacobs tithe played a vital role in the administration of the Old Covenant and Abrahams tithe played just as vital a role in the emergence of the New Covenant. God never required the Israelites to tithe and He doesnt require you to tithe. Read the book. Know the truth. End the tithing charade today.
