The Jeopardy In Justice

The reader is transported to a parallel universe sometime in the distant future. The main characters are prodigious young police officers trying to uncover the identity of a serial killer who they are somehow no match for in physical combat. Follow them as they go to temples in the mountains to learn of the ancient techniques mastered by their quarry and learn the horrible truth about why the victims were murdered. The story is a light take of the film-noir genre inspired partly by anime and partly by science fiction.
