Excerpt from The Journal of the Canadian Mining Institute Vol. 11: 1908<br><br>Dr. J. Bonsall Porter then asked permission to move that the secretary be instructed to despatch a telegram to Dr. A. P. Low Deputy Minister of Mines at present convalescing in the West Indies expressing the sympathy of the Institute in his illness and its thanks for the interest he had always shown in the work and the assistance he had been ever ready to afford the Institute in the past.<br><br>The resolution was seconded by Mr. Geo.
