The Journey - A voyage of feelings to words

This book is a collection of poetry which describes life seen from a teenager’s perspective who has left the innocence of childhood behind and finds herself in the shoes of a young adult; she struggles to find her own way which is hindered by the ideologies of a judgemental society; she mourns the loss of loved ones and welcomes the blushing glee of newfound love; she tries to discover the beauty of her homeland ‘Kashmir’ but is stopped by barbed wires and yearning eyes.
