<p>Alice and Deepak were introduced to each other in 1995 and quickly became close friends. This friendship blossomed into love that led to them getting married. During their 28 years of friendship love and marriage Deepak wrote poems composed songs for Alice and offered prayers on their behalf. Following Alice's struggle with cancer and death caused by a chemotherapy-weakened immune system Deepak also included some reflections on what had transpired and letters to her.
