The Judge / Maher Family

This is the story of the Judge and Maher families. Joseph Judge was born in Roscommon Ireland in 1884 where he was baptized Patrick Joseph Brehaney [variously spelled Brehaney Breheny Brehan Brehon Brehony]. He was known as Packy as a young boy and lived an idyllic life with a running brook near the home a spring where the children fetched water and where a peat fire always was burning.
