<p>The Forest Prince is a collection of children's novels by Kipling all of which take place in the jungles of India. The main character throughout is a human boy named Mowgli who is adopted by a pack of wolves. Surrounding the Wolf Child Maogeli are animals with diverse personalities in the jungle including brave wolf packs fierce tigers serious brown bears intelligent black leopards etc. They accompany Maogeli as he grows up and help him learn the laws of the jungle.
