The Key of Solomon the King (Clavicula Salomonis)

The Key of Solomon the King is a pseudepigraphical grimoire attributed to King Solomon. It probably dates back to the 14th or 15th century Italian Renaissance. Not to be confused with the 17th century Lesser Key of Solomon containing 72 demons The Key of Solomon the King deals with planetary talismans and various other arcane operations utilizing them. The evocation of spirits given in The Key of Solomon the King likely inspired the expanded spirit working found in the Lesser Key. This version was translated by Macgregor Mathers in 1888.
