The killer's deception

It is not uncommon for Detective Kim Stone to be confronted with brutal murder cases but this time there is something different. The victim is Dr. Gordon Cordell a man with a dark past who was involved in a previous investigation and Kim keeps wondering who might have wanted him dead. A strange sense of unease accompanies her as she takes her first steps back into the victim's life. When Cordell's son falls into a coma following a dramatic accident and a few days later the body of a woman who died under suspicious circumstances is found Kim cannot help but speculate on a connection between the victims. All clues seem to point towards Russells Hall the hospital where Gordon Cordell worked over which hovers a dark and impenetrable web of secrets and code of silence.
