In a cozy pink brick house on Lilac Lane lives a little old lady Gran LaLa with the cats who once upon a time were strays. Gran LaLa loves the cats who live with her inside the cozy pink brick house as well as all of the other animals visiting the big outside world of her back yard.Gran LaLa named her home Dove Cottage because of the wood pigeons and other birds who dine on her patio. She thought Dove Cottage a nicer name than Opossum Rabbit Squirrel Goose Hawk Woodpecker Blue Jay Mole Raccoon Skunk Turtle Chipmunk Coyote Frog or Field Mouse Cottage because dove rhymes with love. Gran LaLa continually fills feeders and scatters seeds on the patio for visitors to enjoy daily.
