The Kiss in Her Pocket

<p>Who would have thought that an imaginary kiss in her pocket could help with her first day of school jitters and anxieties? But... it did the trick!</p><p>Based on the author's true-life experience with her own child this whimsical rhyming story was penned the very afternoon of her eldest daughter's first day of school. The emotions were raw and fresh as the story tumbled out onto paper that cool September day back in 1998. </p><p>A family favorite for years the story was finally put into print hoping to be an encouragement to children and parents alike dealing with separation anxiety. </p><p>The moments in time are so short when fears and worries can be solved with a simple kiss!</p><p>Creating The Kiss in Her Pocket was my way of celebrating those moments.
