About The Book

This is a story about the American frontier seen through the eyes of a young girl Rebecca Harding or Dancing-Wind as she is known by her Cheyenne family. She is born into two races of people conflicting over what had belonged to her beloved Cheyenne people for hundreds of generations. Her entire life had been planned or so she believed until her father altered the course of her life. Forced to say goodbye to her family and the young man she had wanted to marry she was taken to live with her fathers adopted family the Hollingsworths the elite St Louis society. There she met Bradley and her life began the separation of establishing who she wanted to be in the world where two races fought hard to change the West forever.
