The Last of the Veimurians

Charlo is a member of the hostile alien race known as the Veimurians. Ever since the destruction of their world the minimal population of Veimurians left have been travelling through the galaxy on a massive ship milking other innocent planets of their resources by using a deadly advanced technology that produces acid rain to wipe out any life they deem unnecessary to their operations. Charlo betrays the remainder of her race during a ground operations mission to save a man on Earth who reminds her of her late father who died to save her as her planet was destabilizing. Along the way Charlo and her newfound friends go on a wild ride across the stars to defeat her race-including her corrupt power-hungry former superior-and break free from the Veimurian's threat of hostility towards all life in the galaxy. Charlo herself goes on a journey of self-discovery and healing through the many battles she faces and she learns more about her past that encourages her that she too can change even as the last non-hostile member of her race that remains.
