He was born in Memari a small town in West Bengal and spent most of his childhood in hostels at Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Narendrapur. After graduating from National Institute of Technology Durgapur he is currently working in data analytics in one of the Big 4 consulting firms. His passion for storytelling combined with his background in science and tech inspired him to write science fiction stories. He was shortlisted for Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute's Direction and Screenwriting in 2019. His team's sci-fi thriller project The Metaverse Connection was selected to be showcased at AVGC panel at Cannes Film Festival 2023.
