The Last Sugarbaby

<p class=ql-align-justify><strong><em>The Last Sugar Baby</em></strong> is the fourth novel by <strong>H. G. Shuler</strong> to be published. It is quite an exciting story set between Rochester and Buffalo New York. Hunter Pence after working as detective with the Buffalo P.D. for a year gets the 20-year-old case file for a serial rapist dropped in his lap. </p><p class=ql-align-justify>Perplexed and bothered that an active serial rapist can go un-caught for so long a time Hunter begins a new strategy for solving the case and it involves one of the rape victims (Remi McKenna). Their introduction comes after gang members ram a car driven by Remi and Hunter arrives late on the scene to investigate. Remi and Hunter soon find themselves swept into a game of <em>catch me if you can</em> with the serial rapist.</p><p class=ql-align-justify>Hunter manages to overcome his mistakes and lack of experience to find himself on the heels of the rapist. At the same time Remi fights psychological demons that threaten her very existence. The mysteries of her life unravel in a dramatic explosion of events. She weaves her way through skeptical friends a forceful psychiatrist multiple self-defense encounters and a relentless rapist intent on returning to the scene of the crime.</p><p><br></p>
