The Leap

<p>In this story Matthew gets cut from the basketball team and learns a valuable lesson about vision and dedication after breaking the news to his dad. As Dad defines vision and dedication Matthew learns about America's space race with Russia and how the vision of a nation won that race. Matthew also learns about American heroes like JFK and Neil Armstrong and he learns about the importance of never giving up. For America that meant landing a man on the moon. What will it mean for Matthew? Will Matthew give up or will he try out for the team again? </p>
