The Legacy Leader as Superhero

<p>The best leaders strive to accomplish what no superhero in a comic book ever has: They seek to create an army of superheroes who when properly aligned directed and motivated can achieve feats not even Superman could fathom. <br /> <br />But just like the superheroes in comic books leaders in the real world have weaknesses. In this fifth installment of the Legacy Leader series readers will explore the traits of some of the most popular superheroes—including female and minority superheroes—to discern the leadership qualities we want leaders to exhibit. Key concepts include:<br />• adhering to a strict moral compass and code of conduct;<br />• remaining humble and having a servant heart;<br />• leveraging talents to make a difference in the world; and<br />• investing in the right tools to achieve goals.<br />We don’t expect our leaders to be invincible or immortal and we certainly don’t expect them to wear spandex uniforms or masks.
