The Legacy of Prairie Winds

<p>Johann Gehring sixteen years old travels alone to America and starts a new life in the prairies of Nebraska. Johann digs a well and builds a sod house amid nature's foes: tornados prairie fires and freezing winters. Johan finds love and is tested by the Stock Market Crash the Dust Bowl the Depression Spanish Flu personal tragedies.</p><p>In time Johann changes his name to John marries and begins a family which will continue to live in the prairies of Nebraska.</p><p>Through natural diasters and cultural struggles the Gehring family led by the strong-willed daughter Berta will build a new life in the plains of America.</p>
