The Legends of Nod Book II

In the weeks since his victorious return from forging an alliance between his father's empire and the dragons of Din Prince Joryn has grown increasingly more uncomfortable with his newly acquired status as the champion of Libran doubting himself with every mention of his now legendary journey. But when the crops of the Highlands are ravaged by the warriors of Chiroptera Joryn will have to face his fears of inadequacy and learn whether or not he is truly the hero everyone believes him to be. Pressed to lead his father's army into Chiroptera on an errand of war Joryn finds his peaceful nature at odds with the violent expectations of the warriors at his command. Now instead of leading a unified army against the bloodthirsty Chirops Joryn finds himself commanding an army divided by his leadership. And while he cannot fault them for their doubts he knows that if the warriors of the Highlands are ever to believe in him he must first overcome his greatest challenge and learn to believe in himself.
