The Letter

At sixteen Elaine and Brad are the couple until life forces them apart. Even though every indication is that they belong together destiny appears to have a different plan. It has been over thirty years since Elaine has even thought about Brad but today she receives a letter from him. It's an amazing occurrence and she begins to wonder what it could mean. Even her mother a very spiritual person felt that Brad and Elaine were destined to be together. They were if anyone ever was soul mates. <p>But after separating and trying to stay close life's path took them further apart until Elaine even began to feel that there was no such thing as eternal love. Her mother's reassurances seemed to fall on deaf ears and she resigned herself to live her life as best she could and keep searching for happiness. <p>Now out of nowhere the letter arrives. After months of reading it thinking and agonizing she decides she needs to act. It could be her one chance at spending eternity with her soul mate. Or will she find happiness in the existing relationship with her husband? Whatever choice she makes today she decides to answer The Letter.
