THE LEVEL OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY AMONG PLMUN STUDENTS

This study explores the English language proficiency levels among selected students of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS). Employing a mixed-methods approach the research integrates quantitative assessments to provide a comprehensive analysis of language skills. The sample comprises students from diverse academic disciplines within CAS ensuring a broad representation of proficiency levels.The research concludes for curriculum development and policy changes aimed at improving English language education within CAS. By addressing the identified gaps and leveraging existing strengths the institution can better support students in achieving higher levels of English proficiency ultimately contributing to their academic success and future career opportunities.
