The Lies of Kitty Bennet

Inwardly though she longed for a life as exciting as anything Eliza or Jane could imagine and so she told one little lie. No one would find out and Kitty could finally experience being praised by someone even if it was for a dowry that didn't exist.</span></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(0 0 0 0); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>But then a money-grubbing suitor turns up looking to take advantage of her pretend inheritance and Kitty has to think fast and the only thing she can think of is another lie. </span></p><p></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(0 0 0 0); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Will a pretend engagement to her uncle's new law clerk solve all her problems or will Kitty's lies destroy everything she's trying to protect?</span></p><p></p>
