Born and raised in Chicago Steppin' has been an integral part of my upbringing. After moving to Omaha NE in 1980 I founded the Midwest Steppers of Omaha dedicated to raising funds for young African American women pursuing their college dreams. I believe The Lies We Loved will resonate with readers seeking authentic heartfelt stories that celebrate the struggles and triumphs of Black women.
