The Life and Legacy of Local Workers of the MB Church in India

The book describes the western Christian mission in India from the perspective of the Indigenous peoples themselves. In other words it is the story of those who responded to the Christian gospel proclaimed by western missionaries and then embraced/embodied/developed it within the context of India. The book is a collection of biographies telling the stories of 32 Indian Mennonite Brethren church leaders. Each biography details who these local leaders were—their upbringing education calling to Christian service and contribution to the life and ministry of the Mennonite Brethren Church in India.
