the Life and Times of June McKenzie

June McKenzie was born in 1938 the year before the start of World War II. As you can imagine this was not the best time to enter into a world of fast approaching conflict nor were the circumstances of her birth ideal. Her father David McKenzie a quietly spoken man had recently married for a second time under considerable duress. Already having two young sons by his late wife David now found himself facing life with a vile tempered woman and another mouth to feed. Home life within the four walls of their modest home was never to be a happy one for David or his children. As the years slipped by would June ever find the happiness she craved.
