The Life Beyond the Veil Volume 1

One of the great classics of Spiritual literature The Life Beyond the Veil is made up of a collection of messages received by the Rev. George Vale Owen the Vicar of Orford Lancashire in the early 1900’s. Shortly after Vale Owens mother died in 1909 his wife developed a talent for automatic writing and through this medium he received instruction to sit quietly with pen in hand and take down any messages that came into his mind. During the course of these writings various spirit entities communicated with the Rev. Vale Owen revealing a rather unique perspective on life on the other side. An influential newspaperman of the time Lord Northcliffe was so impressed with the content of the communications that he carried them as a regular feature in his newspaper the Weekly Despatch. The writings had faded from view for a time but since being rediscovered in recent times have regained their popularity as a major contributor to the subject of Spirit communication. The language in this book is a little outmoded but to keep the flavor and atmosphere of the times it was felt to leave the text unchanged. We are confident that the reader will understand these more obscure terms as they are taken within the context of the relevant passage.
