The Life of St. Attala

Despite his noble background Attala's true distinction lies in his sanctity. He initially struggles with rebellious monks who resist his strict discipline. Through prayer and compassion he attempts to guide them back to the path of righteousness. Some monks return seeking forgiveness while others face dire consequences for their arrogance. Additionally Attala demonstrates his divine favor by calming a flooding river further establishing his leadership and spiritual authority. </span></p>
