As the months went on these 'friends' would have something to do with a child's fears (Buzz and Honey Bee) a child's curiosity (Uncle Wilber who forever needed a haircut) a child's drama (Robby Robin and Wiggly Worm) a child's folly (Bones and Sister Bones) a child's humor (Gray the Elephant) a child's understanding (Bugsy Bug) and a child's hero - one character who seemed to be the most fun for me - Pumpernickel. Pumpernickel was Santa's magic Elf who missed getting back to Santa's sleigh on Christmas Eve.
