He earned his MSc and PhD in Genetics from the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) New Delhi where he worked in the lab of 'Bharat Ratna' Dr. MS Swaminathan. His research continued at the Technical University of Hannover West Germany and has been published in Indian European and American journals. He was instrumental in establishing the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Maiduguri Nigeria. After 14 years abroad he returned to India and dedicated himself to advance agricultural practices. He retired from the Directorate of Research RAU in 2007. He lives in Jaipur and has been practising Vipassana meditation for the last 17 years. Author Dr. Sangita Sharma: Dr. Sangita Sharma the elder daughter of Dr.Trilok serves as the Director of Jaipur Fertility Centre. She is also a teacher to MCh students has numerous research publications and is a skilled orator. She holds a gold medal in MBBS. She has earned her MD (OBGY) from LHMC Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital New Delhi and a Diploma from Germany. She was awarded the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Inspiration Award 2024' as the 'Most Trusted IVF Specialist of North India'. She enjoys traveling is a cherished daughter a devoted wife and mother of two sons.
