The little fish from Gabriel Okara's Town is a satire about the final fate of man if he continues to degrade his environment through wars, anti-environmental oil explorations and other environmental degrading human activities. The little fish, other animals and birds found themselves eventually in a reservation far from their natural habitat because of the havoc humans had caused. Not too long, the humans who put them there soon found themselves in reservations, as Internally Displaced Persons or refugees.
