The Long Way Home

A young aristocrat leaves his home planet of Delta to become a soldier of fortune in service of the powerful Republic of Aargh. He is promoted to an officer rank but his career takes an unexpected turn after his best friend gets involved into an espionage affair. When he finally retires from the army Captain Lennart Duncan is planning to start a new life but the circumstances force him to take part in a sinister political game on behalf of his country as a secret agent of his government.
