The Lost Cadaver of the Ancient Samir

<p>A graduate student is sent by her advisor to spend the summer with an art collector living in the countryside of her town. There she begins to take note of his unusual behaviors and friends but doesn't start to question the world around her until it is too late. She is then given the gift of Evolution vampirism but begins to regret her decision to accept this fate as her creator is not who he has led her to believe he is. Working through a summer haze of heat guilt hedonism boredom and haunting desires of others the protagonist Victoria is forced to set aside her desire for a regular student's life and face guttural horrors for the chance of a newfound freedom and understanding of herself and what led to the state of vampiristic beliefs amongst her new peers.</p>
