THE LOTUS-LEAVES

About the Author: Mr. Shanti Sarup Suri was born in 1927 at Sialkot (Pakistan) where he had his education from Scotch Mission High School and Murray college. Ho was a third year student when the country was partitioned in 1947. After partition he did his B.A from Sikh National College Qadian; and his B.T. from Coronation Hindu Degree College Moradabad. His articles on literary subjects often appeared in the college magazines. He has been a school teacher since 1949. After having relished the nectar contained in Tagores literature for 17 years. he has shown his devote devotion in the form of his two books: The Forrestrial Sun and The Lotus Leaves. The former enabled him to meet Pt. Nehru and Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Pt. Nehru remarked : तो क्या आप टीचर हैं! बहुत लेबर (Labour) की है आपने अब इसको छपना चाहिए। Dr. S.
