To prolong the inevitable a king attempts to preserve a painter's life when he discovers through his astrological chart that their fates are suddenly intertwined. The monarch is forced to keep him alive for his own personal reasons. King Ouf is a powerful leader with a weakness for astrology myths and superstition. During a reading it is revealed that he is spiritually linked to a traveling painter named Lazuli.
