The Magic Chest Series 1: THE KIDNAPPING

THE MAGIC CHEST SERIES is a pack of mystery and crime solving stories written for the age group of 10 to 16 years but can be enjoyed by adults of all ages as well.  This (The Kidnapping) is the introductory novel that showcases the characters and sets the tone for the rest of the stories. Here is a gang who are the kids of today; naughty playful intelligent internet savvy gizmo friendly well-informed and adventurous. The gang is led by Mannu a brave and athletic 14-year-old. The characters – Mannu Rita Raju Nicky and Sanju can easily be identified by any viewer as themselves or other kids in the locality.  The cases they solve are also crimes that happen every day in a city like Mumbai.  Tackling contemporary crimes the series also aims to install values like courage loyalty friendship and teamwork among children.
