The Maiden of the Woods

Even if she did show her interest in him she could never act on her desires because of his apparent hatred toward her and her father who sees Cormac as the walking embodiment of everything her father lost. <br><br>The reason for Seamus's anger? Cormac too was injured by the Romans. Only his wound healed and he remained a powerful Caledonii warrior. A tall dark warrior who catches Kiera's eye more than once.<br><br>When Kiera finds herself surrounded by Romans outside the gates of their village it is Cormac who comes to her rescue and Cormac who helps her find shelter when they are caught in the storm.<br><br>And it is Cormac who creates a storm of desire in Kiera. So she is shocked when she learns that his angry visage was a guise and he has desired her as well.<br><br>Despite it all they act on those desires. <br><br>But her family especially her father is an obstacle in their finding happiness together. <em><strong>Will Cormac and Kiera find the love they have been searching for?
