It is an important tool for the diagnosis of cancer. It is therefore the confirmatory examination of tumors. Usually immunohistochemistry is the most common histological examination. Necropsy can be used to diagnose tumors. It is a post-mortem examination of an animal to determine the cause of death or assess pathological conditions. It is the ultimate diagnostic fate of most experimental animals.
