The Making of an American Book Description David L Taylor has contributed to The Making of an American as an author.Taylor attended college at SUNY Morrisville New York. After two years he switched his credits over to Rutgers University in Newark NJ. Summer of 1961 he started work as a copyboy for the Elizabeth Daily Journal until 1963 when Dave joined the U.S. Navy. After graduation from boot camp Dave reported to Photo A School at the Naval Air Technical Training Unit Pensacola Naval Air Station. After completing three months of school he was assigned to VFP-63 Miramar California. In 1966 he reported to NAS Bermuda. Dave was discharged from the Navy in 1968.
