The Man with Hands for Hands and The Secret of the Stones

These two short stories are the product of James' rewriting of two previous works.The Man with Hands for Hands.Originally a poem inspired by the wonderful puppets of Samuel Wilde. It has now been re-written as a short story. Set in a land where everyone has objects instead of hands. Whilst exploring they find themselves being watched by someone who has actual hands for hands. How they first respond sets them on a path that changes their entire society.This book includes the original draft poem complete with errors that was part of a staged show.The Secret of the Stones.Just before the turn of the millennium a young father is greeted by an ancient fairy who needs help. It is a story that gives an alternative reason for the sudden emergence of engraved stones in the year 2000.It also includes a short guide to fairy folk who also live in the area in which the story is set.
