College student Jacob Matthew Ernst has a unique talent-he can see through the eyes of his hounds. For now he needs a break from his studies. It's summer in Upstate New York and time for a long hike amongst the beautiful hills of Painted Post. With his faithful young coonhound Monk Matthew looks forward to an uncomplicated respite in the woods.Logan Willoughby wants to belong but she's fallen in with the wrong crowd-a motorcycle gang with a long list of criminal exploits. However the price of admission may be a price too steep for her to pay. But Logan knows too much. She's become an end that can ill afford to remain loose and her fellow gang members will do whatever is necessary to protect their own interests.A chance meeting puts Logan and Matthew on a collision course.
