The Meaning of Christmas

<p>The warm glow we feel at Christmas is more than sentiment; it is because of the real message of Christmas - Immanuel <em>God </em>with us.</p><p></p><p>Christ's coming is the epicentre of the Bible's message: 'When the fullness of the time was to come God sent forth his Son....' It is the story of all Creation being renewed and coming to fulfilment through a man - <em>The Man </em>- Christ Jesus conceived by the Holy Spirit born of the virgin Mary of the Father's love begotten.</p><p></p><p>Such is the real meaning of Christmas.</p><p></p><p>---</p><p></p><p><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>This book is a series of meditations on the real message and meaning of Christmas. Taking some of the most familiar words from the Bible commonly associated with the Christmas season they seek to unpack not just the familiar story of the nativity but its true and abiding significance for our world.
