The Meanings of Working in Precarious Conditions

This manuscript presents the results of ethnographic research carried out with the Largo da Ordem market traders in the city of Curitiba Paraná/Brazil. This research was carried out under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Suzana da Rosa Tolfo (co-author of this book). It is aimed at students teachers and researchers interested in the subject and in the area of work. It should be noted that the issue of job insecurity is a reality experienced by many workers in various sectors and places around the world resulting in negative impacts on their health. But what can we psychologists and professionals in the field of work do to mitigate these impacts and improve the health of these workers?
