THE MISSIONARY WORK OF THE COMPANY OF JESUS IN ASIA AND AMERICA

In this book we will talk about two of the missions that the Society of Jesus had in Asia and America which like the others had what they needed to sustain themselves both materially and spiritually. Let us remember that the Jesuits made the most of the climatic and natural goodness so that their missions would prosper teaching the inhabitants everything they needed so that they could be self-sufficient and help them in the work they were doing. And as proof of the above they left in writing the edifying letters which can be considered as reports where all the elements that made up these places including the climate flora fauna people. The Jesuit missionaries used their knowledge of botany geography cartography linguistics ethnography zoology astronomy etc. to do this.
