The Missouri Run

<p>Kat Merevec and Tish O'Donnell are ready to enjoy their drive through Missouri on Route 66. Sure they have to keep selling the inventory of stolen diamonds stashed in the trunk of their 1957 Buick ragtop but no one knows they're hot...yet...so why not have some fun?</p><p>But the Missouri pawnbrokers are acting ominously suspicious and an annoying retired couple with an overactive interest in the Buick keeps popping up like gophers in a new lawn. Even the Irish clan of motorcycle-riding security experts who befriend them may not be as innocent as they appear.</p><p>Those worries pale though compared to the mysterious black SUV haunting the Buick's rearview mirror and triggering Kat's recurring nightmare of another black car and a dark winter night. Then Tish compounds their crimes by kidnapping a turtle.</p><p>Getting out of Missouri alive is going to take a lot of work. But reaching the safety of the California coast might take all the luck they've got...</p><p></p>
