When I was studying in college in B Sc medical had no clue about financial education and how instrumental this is in one’s life. When I looked around in the society my neighborhood and friends I found that people were struggling in this domain. Most of them depended on someone else’s professional advice for investment. They lacked financial education no matter how many degrees they have to their names. From their school days their primary focus is on academics. And I was no exception. Math and science were my favorite subjects yet I was oblivious to the concept of financial education. I devoted more time to academic education or you can say traditional education. As I had fetched good grades in matriculation after passing out of my college I found myself in a long queue of interviews in the corporate world. I failed in many interviews because of a lack of experience and my preference for the job. The companies were selecting people on their terms and condition which I did not fit into. Finally after getting rejected in about 30 interviews I got selected in one of the renowned pharmaceutical company of India. I joined the marketing department. Unfortunately I had to leave my family as the vacancy was available in another city which was about 180km away from my home. So I took a room on rent and started my journey of employment.
